· TEAM BUILDING: Teaches people about their physical, mental and emotional anatomy and how to get them working together so as to transform their programmed nature into a positive pro active one that is sustained. When this attitude is held, success is the result, as a positive mind does not see challenges it sees opportunity and solutions naturally. Activities include interactive drumming, exercise, scientific breath and relaxation techniques. (See team building page for program specifics).
· PERSONAL PROGRAMS: A personal program is designed to suit each individual’s specific requirements on bringing balance to their live or health. Through consultation we identify the area to be balanced, a 40 day program is recommended and coaching of the program is initiated.
· YOGA CLASSES: Yoga is a method by which the body's supply of energy is increased by the removal of any interference to the transmission of energy throughout the body via stretching. The asanas are designed to correct bad postures brought about by modern day living and correct and promote a flexible spine which plays a major role in vitality. The postures and exercises also encourage a squeezing and massaging on specific organs and muscles which stimulates secretion of the body's natural fluids and chemicals for healing and rejuvenation. This automatically results in the attainment of high energy levels and positive attitudes. While western type exercises such as weight lifting, isometrics and especially aerobics do have great benefits to wellness they are mainly directed to the physical body. Yoga entails a more comprehensive benefit which deals with the whole system, not just one aspect of it and especially stimulates the mind and emotions. It works on the body’s vitality and rejuvenation centers, on the brain, the spine, the glands and the internal organs. It works on the autonomic nervous systems that keep the physical body alive. · BREATH CONTROL CLASSES: When we inhale we breathe in not only air and oxygen but also on a subtle level vital energy. All three are vital for life and health. The meaning of pranayama – prana is vital energy anyama means extension – therefore the extension of intake of vital energy into our bodies. People are experiencing low energy levels as the modern day pace of living has lead to faulty breathing; our breathing is far too short and shallow. This deprives the body of oxygen and prana or vital energy which is essential for good health. The rate of our breath regulates our minds and emotions. Deep slow breathing stimulates a calm content mind and emotions whilst irregular breathing disrupts the rhythms of the brain which leads to physical, emotional and mental blocks. Breath control creates regular breathing patterns breaking negative cycles and promotes a natural relaxed rhythm of the body, mind and emotions. Breathing exercises have become an essential remedy in assisting the parasympathetic nervous system.
· RELAXATION CLASSES: (YOGA NIDRA) The practice of conscious relaxation is scientifically designed to release mental, emotional and muscular tension, which in turn will provide relaxation to tense thoughts and feelings. Yoga Nidra and the techniques used are the most beneficial way to transforms one’s nature and reactions. Transformation of our nature is our main goal, because our attitude and feelings are what attract perfection or the lack thereof to our lives. Currently our attitudes and behavior are based on a collection of old information and perceptions that have been gathered over the years from many different people and circumstances, most of which do not serve us anymore. These attitudes and behaviors produce our reactions towards life events and this is what affects the outcome of our lives. This is the reason why so many people promise they will change; promise they will not do things again but to no avail. This is also the reason why so many say they will be positive from today and it does not happen. Yoga Nidra is one of our antidotes to clearing those blockages and old habits that stop us from moving forward. If we want to change our life, we have to change our mind. Yoga Nidra trains your subconscious mind, and your ordinary and intellectual mind then follows suit. How does it work? As we follow the instruction of the voice, we are led into complete relaxation, not only physically, but mentally and emotionally too. Withdrawal of the senses occurs and we reach a point called siddhi consciousness. In this state we are neither completely awake, nor in deep sleep. As we withdraw the senses, the conscious mind withdraws and the subconscious mind comes to the fore. At this place, the mind is extremely receptive and whatever suggestions or impressions are given enters the mind and become extremely powerful, remaining on the mind. It is the bridge between conscious and unconscious. Suggestions made in this time can successfully remove unwanted habits and plant new seeds to transform one’s nature.
· MEDITATION CLASSES: As people go about their daily lives, attending to their duties, there is a constant chatter that goes on in the mind, which we are sometimes aware of. This chatter generates feelings, and in our modern day world, these feelings are more likely to be feelings of anxiety, hopelessness, being overwhelmed, anger and other self-defeating emotions. It is not our pure personality that is causing our reactions towards life but our beliefs, habits and programmed information making up our masked persona. At this point our mind controls us and our lives, when in fact we should be in control of our minds. Our programmed minds give us flawed personalities; if we take control of what is put in and taken out, we can take control of our minds and lives. Meditation is a process of transcending or surpassing the waves of the mind and emotions and taking control of them. It encourages the releasing of psychic scars, negative feelings, thought and habits.
· MANTRA CLASSES: The sound patterns used are based on the science of sound. Quantum technology works with the smallest particles of sound and energy placing them into effective patterns. These patterns are used as seeds to create larger pattern imprinted to the subconscious mind, seeds that will bring transformation of thought, action, reaction and overall transformation to the nature. In the science of mantra the meridian points, which is the base of the brain and the upper palate is stimulated with the tip of the tongue. This in turn stimulates and tunes the thalamus and hypothalamus, which sits on the upper palate, this and the word causes the pineal glands to vibrate and as it does it creates an impulse on the pituitary gland which causes it to secrete the chemicals such as serotonin and happy chemicals that feed the emotions. The pituitary gland also sends an impulse to the glandular system which further secretes and this secretion alters the moods and emotions to higher vibrating emotions of joy and love
